No Alarms And No Surprises
It’s been awhile since I got my meme on, so I’m picking up one from Alyssa* and seeing where it goes. Based on a familiar list of 17 issues questions, each one weighted from care to not, this quiz purports to play matchmaker with one’s dream candidate. Here’s how I turned out:
88% Chris Dodd
85% John Edwards
85% Barack Obama
84% Hillary Clinton
83% Mike Gravel
82% Bill Richardson
79% Joe Biden
78% Dennis Kucinich
40% Rudy Giuliani
32% John McCain
31% Tom Tancredo
27% Mike Huckabee
23% Mitt Romney
22% Ron Paul
17% Fred Thompson
2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz
No surprises here, Dodd excepted.
I mean, Dodd’s a nice enough guy, but he was a non-candidate from early on. I believe he knew it, too. The most popular feature of his campaign site, the Dodd Talk Clock, was less about his platform or stances and all about how little face time he and other second tier candidates were getting.
* – She put the results on her LJ, but I’m trying to get her to post more to her “big girl” blog.

My results were nearly the opposite of yours (Paul first, Edwards nearly last), except Mike Gravel was my #2 for some strange reason. I guess I have a little Unitarian in me that I hadn’t yet discovered?
